How much is the rate in ODesk?
Basically, the rate depends on your skills and of course, your job experiences in ODesk, IT guys are getting a good rate but it still depends on the skills. Say you are an experienced web developer, you can earn at least $3 per hour and if you prove yourself in ODesk by getting more jobs in this field and getting good feedback from your clients, you might earn $10-$15 per hour. You can also get more than one client at a time. Imagine how much you can make if you are really determined. So how much will be the rate for the none IT guys. My friend started last August 2011 in ODesk. It is his first time to try earning online. He fix his profile then start hunting his first job. He was able to get a contract after 3 weeks and get paid. His first hourly rate is $0.5 per hour but after 2 months, he increases his hourly rate demand to 1.5 per hour (you cannot do this in a traditional offline job) then after 5-6 months his hourly rate demands $3 per hour and have like 2-3 active contract. He is earning $200 per week..
How can I get the money I earned from ODesk
You can get your money directly to your bank or they can deposit it your paypal account. There will be no charges on the first withdrawal. Based on my experience, it took two days before it reflect to my bank account.
